General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI was accosted by a dealer in front of the supermarket today
Be alert the suspect was female, Hispanic, around 4 feet tall, black hair, brown eyes, wearing a tan vest with multi-color patches and was cute as a button. If you are approached by these hooligans do not try to deal with them alone, you will lose and it will be very dangerous to your wallet and your waistline, you have been warned.

(15,149 posts)Because the troop gets to keep all the money, but only receives 50 cents per box of cookies sold. So you did the equivalent of buying 40 boxes of cookies!
I walked away from the Thin Mints and the Samoas with my dignity intact and my trips to the gym on the plus side of the ledger.

(17,136 posts)They came along pulling a wagon, filled with their illicit goods. They were all dressed up in their beautiful colorful native regalia and footwear, with their hair all fixed and traditional. It was absolutely impossible to resist them. Id have loved to get pictures, but I didnt think at the time that it would be appropriate.

Unknown to me our local dealer, I mean grocery store, recently had a BOGO on them and I made the the mistake of sending hubby out for butter and coffee. Needless to say he came back with a 'few' boxes of lemon filled Paczkis for the two of us. I guess I'll get to find out if they freeze okay.
WePurrsevere
(24,259 posts)and of course it's mandatory that we buy a 'few' boxes. All I can say is, thank goodness that we're back down to just the one selling them this year and they freeze rather well if you want to stash them for an occasional 'fix'.
