I was accosted by a dealer in front of the supermarket today

Be alert the suspect was female, Hispanic, around 4 feet tall, black hair, brown eyes, wearing a tan vest with multi-color patches and was cute as a button. If you are approached by these hooligans do not try to deal with them alone, you will lose and it will be very dangerous to your wallet and your waistline, you have been warned.

Because the troop gets to keep all the money, but only receives 50 cents per box of cookies sold. So you did the equivalent of buying 40 boxes of cookies!

I walked away from the Thin Mints and the Samoas with my dignity intact and my trips to the gym on the plus side of the ledger.

....tribe (Camp Fire Girls), I've always supported Girl Scouts and their parents who, like me years ago, hang out for hours in front of a grocery store. If you don't want cookies, give them a five dollar donation, which is like buying half a dozen boxes.

They came along pulling a wagon, filled with their illicit goods. They were all dressed up in their beautiful colorful native regalia and footwear, with their hair all fixed and traditional. It was absolutely impossible to resist them. I’d have loved to get pictures, but I didn’t think at the time that it would be appropriate.

My heart just melted into goo.

After succumbing to one of these evil people, and consuming the results, I've installed ramps at my house. Walking is now slower than just flopping down and rolling. Much faster, though you do need to widen the doorways.

And the boxes seem smaller nowadays. But I always try to buy stuff from kids pedaling their stuff. I know they only get a fraction of the money, but I got roped in to selling stuff like that when I was a kid. Mostly it was candy but I think subscriptions or something at least once. L

Is to set up outside legal weed dispensaries, in places that have them. It's been documented in California and Colorado and Illinois. Very deadly and effective. Beware, could be coming to your area soon!

I'm not super big on sweets but must admit that I have a bit of a thing for the lemon variety of these overstuffed pillows of pre-Lent fantabulousness. I

Unknown to me our local dealer, I mean grocery store, recently had a BOGO on them and I made the the mistake of sending hubby out for butter and coffee. Needless to say he came back with a 'few' boxes of lemon filled Paczkis for the two of us. I guess I'll get to find out if they freeze okay.

and of course it's mandatory that we buy a 'few' boxes. All I can say is, thank goodness that we're back down to just the one selling them this year and they freeze rather well if you want to stash them for an occasional 'fix'.
