Coronavirus starts to set off some recession alarm bells

Will China's coronavirus outbreak send the world economy into recession?

As cases spread across Asia and in Europe, only some of the multiple indicators investors use to monitor recession signals are flashing red, implying the frail global economy may not necessarily be heading towards a contraction.

It is too early to be sure, however. The outbreak is still continuing to spread and key data points for February are still unavailable.

What's more, forecasting global recessions is tricky because most countries can't match U.S. data for its breadth. It's also rare for the world economy to actually shrink - prior to 2008-09, that happened only in 1990-1991.

on one of my forums says that the Corona virus is a liberal virus, cause it might hurt the economy and hurt Trump's campaign.

We've been staving off the Trump Slump for 2 1/2 years or so.

This is turning into a significant shock to the system.

i have been meaning to roll that into my other account, but havent gotten around to it. i hate these bastards, every one of them. but i gotta put some money in money.

then it had a huge couple of gains, and i dawdled. welp, i am guessing that it is now a little late to move it. i guess i will see if all the connections in the world can hang on to my money.

one of the reasons i love velshi and ruhle is their fantastic grasp of economics and their great explainers of same. plus the money power politics segments are always so good. she really takes it to those brave enough to come on in that spot.
they have been pointing out the holes and the bullshit the whole time here.

i'm glad very little of my money is in any market but the rental market.
