Not much different as far as implementation of Influenza regs.

Any other's out there in the health care field been briefed yet?

1. We had that last week. We are a research lab contractor for DOE.nt.

2. In something of an over-reaction, TPTB in our consortium have decreed...

...that all phone calls handled by our triage nurses must ask about travel to China, even if the reason for the call is a request for a school/sports form, or a refill of an ADHD med, or something not at all related to illness symptoms.

Seems a bit extreme.

documenting travel and exposure questions three different times! UGH!

Seems very overdone in my opinion! Then again, I am in an ophthalmic surgical center. IE" Cataract and retinal surgery.

but my area does not deal directly with patients. I would assume that the hospitals, clinics, & home health workers are getting some kind of briefing.

5. We had our positive case at ASU

Policy is in place. Everyone is asked about travel. It was mass panic after the positive case, but it has calmed down now. Spring break starts on 3/7. Hoo boy. Add Covid 19 to the list of other diseases that spread like wildfire.....
