Covid-19 training and protocol for our facility.
Not much different as far as implementation of Influenza regs.
Any other's out there in the health care field been briefed yet?

(24,007 posts)...that all phone calls handled by our triage nurses must ask about travel to China, even if the reason for the call is a request for a school/sports form, or a refill of an ADHD med, or something not at all related to illness symptoms.
Seems a bit extreme.

Seems very overdone in my opinion! Then again, I am in an ophthalmic surgical center. IE" Cataract and retinal surgery.

(28,079 posts)but my area does not deal directly with patients. I would assume that the hospitals, clinics, & home health workers are getting some kind of briefing.

(937 posts)Policy is in place. Everyone is asked about travel. It was mass panic after the positive case, but it has calmed down now. Spring break starts on 3/7. Hoo boy. Add Covid 19 to the list of other diseases that spread like wildfire.....
