Corona is simply the word for crown (the beer's logo) in both Latin and Spanish. The coronavirus, using the Latin base word, is called that because of its shape. Lots and lots of stupid.

Also, I don't see where the survey says 38% of Americans wouldn't drink Corona because of the virus. It looks like 38% of the beer drinkers in the sample said they wouldn't drink it now. How many of those wouldn't drink it before?

Would be interested in seeing the survey questions.
