They just sent me an absentee voting application so that I can vote, from the comfort of my home, in the March 10th Republican Party primary. Oh, and I'll be ALL SET to also vote absentee in the November 3 general election.
Of course, the application allows me to request either a Democratic ballot, a Republican ballot, or one without the Presidential Primary included (just proposals). They just don't mention that on their blurb.
I'll give it a pass. I love voting on election day. And, even more, I love voting for Democrats on election day.

And they sure as hell don't knock on my door, since I have a sign warning them off. Well, a sign warning off Republicans, but welcoming Democrats, just in case any delusional GOP candidate decides to canvas my neighborhood.

(26,267 posts)Sanford is still on the sample ballot, along with Walsh, Weld and 'uncommitted'.
All of the Democrats are still listed.
I'm assuming that the final ballot, on March 10, will be slightly more updated.

(3,642 posts)I think the last one was with Signorelli on Progress. Seems like a decent enough guy. Meaning, he never stood a chance with the Trump cult.
Edit: reply meant for post 6.

(17,549 posts)My wife and I vote on the first day the polls are open. Around here that is usually a week or so before election day. Who knows, we may die before election day, and I want to do my part to make Republicans miserable even beyond the grave.
We generally go early on a Saturday morning. When we get there, the staff outnumbers voters about three to one, so it is in and out. I never really appreciated the social aspect of voting, especially when I know that three out of four voters at my location are voting against my wishes.
