Sometimes, I think we could use a few more Republicans here in Germany

They claim there is no climate change.

For the last four weekends there have been gale-force winds blowing across northern Germany, the wind howling like a Banshee, and debris flying through the air, smacking people and tilting cars on the road. Tonight again (9:30 PM here), it sounds like a Walt Disney rerun of Darby O'Gill and the little people. Ambulances and police sirens on various streets, not too far from the house.

Since the Republicans seem to think they can make this go away by just stating it isn't there, they are most welcome to do so, starting here and now. If the airport is closed again due to high winds, that's alright. We're patient.
