1 dead from coronavirus in King County (WA), health officials confirm. Details on 2 others now

https://komonews.com/news/local/1-dead-from-coronavirus-in-king-county-health-officials-confirm

Officials plan to hold a press conference at 1 p.m. with more details.

The Department of Health announced Friday evening two presumably new cases of coronavirus, including a school-aged student in Snohomish County.

The department said the results from the individuals' tests came back "preemptively positive," but are pending official confirmation from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention.

A student from Jackson High School in Mill Creek with no travel history is one of the people infected with the COVID-19 virus. The student started feeling ill Monday with body aches, chills and a headache, the department said. Health officials said the student returned to school when he started feeling better, before results Friday revealed the child was sick with coronavirus.

Child isn’t dead. Hopefully recovers. Article mentioned a man had died

WON'T be made to pay for saying that the was/is a hoax drummed up by Dems and the media last night at a rally with people piled into a stadium touching and in contact with each other.

After all, many in his base and within the party of putin (Formerly GOP) are politicizing deadly disease and hope it takes out all of the "Libs" on the coast. A friend said he saw on Facebook from a tRump sycophant. He was trying his best to screen shot what this filth said, but the human filth bucket removed it just before he could screen shoot it.

SMDH, there are some fucking evil and ignorant pieces of filth out there, and I'm being nice calling them pieces of filth, because I'm sorry to have to insult pieces of filth.

The student remains in quarantine and people that made contact with the teen will be tested Saturday for the COVID-19 disease. The Everett School District said the infected teen has a sibling at Gateway Middle School who is not symptomatic, but is being tested and will not be at school until test results come back.

Other people that came into contact with the Snohomish County teen will be self-quarantined for 14 days to protect the public, officials said.

The health department said the teen is "doing well."

The other presumed positive coronavirus test was a woman in her 50s from King County. Health officials said the woman traveled to Daegu, South Korea Feb. 7-23 and returned to Seattle to work Monday before she felt symptoms Tuesday. She reported her symptoms to health officials Wednesday and was tested for the virus Thursday.

Her results came back positive Friday.

Health officials said she is improving without any complications. The woman has not been in public since her symptoms started, the department said, and her husband is under home quarantine.
