tRump and the GOP may have succeeded in turning back the clock.

Say, back to 1932. They botched up the US and the economy so bad that they inadvertently brought on FDR and the New Deal, denied the White House for 20 years and even then had to nominate a moderate to win.

I just hope, unlike 1932 the wheels don't go completely off the track before we have a chance to right it.

People were so disgusted with our system that they looked for alternatives, which ran the gamut from communism to fascism. It's amazing that FDR was able to keep things together.
