Rogue Valley Oregon, Updated Covid-19 Assisted Care Precautions:

I'm a state employed, and also contract caregiver... One of my contract clients is in an assisted care facility. The facility has stepped-up protections for the residents. No non essential visitors admitted until further notice! Essential visitors are buzzed in and must fill out form that includes information about travel, contacts, and if their home residence is located in an area where covid-19 has been reported. Visitors are limited their client's residence and the exit halls to take clients outside facility. Masks, gloves and hand sanitizer are available at desk in front of main doors. All entrance/exit doors are locked and require staff with key for admittance and exit.

The hand sanitizer dispensers have been upgraded throughout the facility and all staff is using them before entering residences and then exiting. Staff is now required to keep fingernails short (no more long claws).

I was very happy and relieved to see these precautions. I've been worried sick about my client, I love her very much. I've been social distancing and taking precautions for a couple of weeks. I'm hoping for the best.
