The Daily Mail is a right wing tabloid newspaper.

It may be true (even a broken clock is right at least once a day) - but I would not trust it without verification.

Not that I don't believe it, but the Mail isn't highly reputable.

The Author of The Great Influenza is prophetic. At the end of his history he speculates what it would look into our world of a similar pandemic hit. Italy it it to a tee.

And now it is coming to a hospital near you.

If we shut down everything right now we might prevent it. But we won’t. I live in Central Florida. Theme Parks up and running.

I don’t think our state officials are that callus. Not even DeSantis who has moved pretty quick. But it is a lack of imagination. They can easily imagine the economic damage of shutting down tourism for a few months. They cannot imagine dead people stacked in hospitals. Due to their lack of imagination they May well get both. And it’s not like I am hearing our Democratic officials clamoring to shut things down. They too can’t bring themselves to imagine the potential.
