Mother Nature.

The planet.

Our home.

Ever see a rescue dog come in with a thousand ticks stuck to it? Infested with fleas? Mange?

At some point the dog either gets some help and clears all that crap up and recovers, or it dies.

I just feel like this is her begging out to us to stop raping her of her resources and sucking her dry and treating her like shit.

And maybe this virus is her natural defenses kicking in against us.

Those billions of little fleas picking at her in a trillion different ways.

One way or another no matter how great we think we are as a species, if we fight HER, either she wins and we all die or we win and we all die.

1. We didn't feel this way about other serious pathogens.

Not SARS. not MERS. not even Ebola.

So it isn't that mother nature is actively trying to kill us... it is always trying to do that. It's just this time we haven't used our collective brain power and ability to communicate to do something about it. And that is right on the leader of the free world's doorstep.
