Look, I'm a big advocate of cannabis reform and legalization, but some people are just stupid.

This will be a gathering of 100's of growers, vendors, and partiers with the purpose of competing, judging, and consuming a wonderful plant.

In normal times it's one hell of a good time. Lots of joints will be passed person to person, lots of bongs will be used communally.

The organizers are trump loving idiots. They are laughing off the virus and going full speed ahead on thcontagion. The organizers have a daily video blog. One comes back from every show with a serious chest cold and laughs it makes him stronger.

It's a perfect environment to spread a contagian.

Idiots.

I thought I was posting a link to the event. I'll try to find a better one.

It's an annual event where competitors bring their finest grows and the attendees judge it and vote on winners in various categories.

Basically it's a smoke fest. Lots of sharing of joints and bongs. People come in from all over the country.

Hundreds of people in a small space sharing saliva.

Especially since the last time the words "dgc" and "meetup" even appeared together in a tweet was in August 2018.

Must be an extremely low key event.
