I went to the WHO site mid day and they didn’t have a situation report for today.

There was an article about closing schools on Finland and Norway as they are approaching 2000 cases, but the jhu site shows fewer than 800

Maybe they’re overwhelmed with data coming at them fast and furious, though not all of it is necessarily reliable. Well intentioned maybe but not reliable.

by state and now the info is for statewide info. People in those areas hit need to know. Keeping it hushed is doing more damage than good.

i believe the States have to send their positive tests to CDC BEFORE they are counted in each state! ( i have family in WYOMING and they have MORE cases than what is showing from CDC). Just saying!

individual section will show 'no data'. The virus information changes so rapidly now that I imagine it takes some time. I would say to be patient.

not WHO. It could be info overload. The number of new cases worldwide increased by 12% in one day. The statistical death rate increased from 6% to 7% since yesterday.

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/popular-johns-hopkins-coronavirus-site-targeted-by-hackers-report-2020-03-12?mod=home-page

A popular Johns Hopkins University website used to track the spread of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 could used by cybercriminals to spread malware, according to noted cybersecurity blogger Brian Krebs on Thursday. In a blog post, Krebs said the popular site "https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/map.html" has been targeted by malware dealers. "Late last month, a member of several Russian-language cybercrime forums began selling a digital coronavirus infection kit that uses the Hopkins interactive map as part of a Java-based malware deployment scheme," Krebs said. "The kit costs $200 if the buyer already has a Java code signing certificate, and $700 if the buyer wishes to just use the seller's certificate." Last week, Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. CHKP, -9.58% warned that coronavirus-themed domains are 50% more likely to be malicious, and that millions working from home need to be more mindful of sound cybersecurity practices.
