Do your part to shut down anti-American mask / sanitizer / toilet-paper scalpers on Craigslist

Looks like Amazon and eBay are onto these people. Here's a possibility for the rest of us.

A few times a day, look at all of the craigslist (CL) for-sale categories at once searching the 'sss' category, then take the link below, substitute a few different local CL jurisdictions at the beginning of the URL (where it says '<your_city>'), find the scalpers' ads and flag them. To do that, you need to click into the ad, then click the 'flag' icon.

Substitute 'https' for 'XXXXX' in the link below - had to do that to avoid it being interpreted as a ready-to-go link.

4. Why? It's counter-economics, people making a buck in unapproved ways

Some of these prices aren't really all that unfair either, how does one determine the line between reasonable price and scalping?

Honestly, it would be a better investment of time to flag the crazy conspiracy theories about the coronavirus instead.

5. BS. Even if they charge the same price...

They bought up something else so other people couldn't. Now, instead of multiple citizens going to a store, they're forced to go to some dude's house in God-knows-where. You'll notice some of them don't even put a price, because they're seeing who offers them the most. It's douche behavior - period.

8. It's easier to simply put Craigslist + your town into Google

Go to For Sale in their menu, and enter the search words. In my area there was already one guy who'd been shut down selling hand sanitizer for excessive amounts and was offering to give it away.
