I'm oddly relaxed

On Monday, Tuesday I was feeling panicky claustrophobic, feeling like I couldn't breathe. While I realize the recent events, press conferences etc... have set off a cascade of panic buying, for me personally I'm at ease now. I haven't figured out why.

Agreed. Feeling Zen. Still vigilante, but Zen all the same. no_hypocrisy Mar 2020 #1

Having to spend a freaking week looking for articles around the globe just to have a handle on what we are dealing with because our government is shit is what was really freaking me out. I like to know what I'm up against. That gives me a sense of control, even if I'm surrounded by idiots. That's my peace.

That's it. Couldn't put into words but you have. Thank you. Adults in charge doing something, laying out rational reasons, plans. Our Governor holding daily pressers is helping a great deal.

I've been well aware of the predictions hence the anxiety and panic. I'm comforted by the fact my state reps are taking it seriously and have a plan. It does change day to day but I have absolute faith in them. There is more to this issue than just getting sick.

I have enough of most things I need to ride it out a while. I do that normally anyhow. I hate going to the grocery store anyhow. So, when I do go, I tend to buy up so I don't have to go back too soon. So, I had just ordered most things I need or got them at the grocery store before news of this broke. Other than break, milk, and eggs, I'm good. I do need those, but my biggest thing is I have been sick otherwise the last few days. This is my normal stuff from being normally neurotic though. I go through this enough to recognize it. Just some nausea and a headache.

What's so bad is that before this hit, I was already having problems with my seasonal allergies. So, I am coughing and sneezing some. I will have to take something before I go back to the store to keep me from coughing. I don't want to scare people. At the same time, I fear people normally. How people are acting right now, how tense everyone is, IS making me more nervous than the actual virus.
