adapting their cancellation policy, awards, points earnings, etc. to provide greater spontaneity when plans have to be changed, even if it was a special rate or prepaid rate. They understand that travel plans everywhere are changing.

and asked clients who were not scheduled to fly in the next 72 hours to delay contacting them so they can deal with the immediate needs of their clients.

It makes sense to me.
