(10,072 posts)I do not get it, even where I live they have decided to hoard it, we have 3 plants not so far away that make TP, it is not going to disappear and it does not come from China. WTH?

I know gross but...
After an operation once I told my doctor I had issues taking care (reaching) after poopoo.
He suggested using the shower after and instead to avoid possible infection. I must have looked horrified because he snickered and said hey saves on tissue.

(4,402 posts)Enough to get you through a bout of pneumonia not serious enough to require hospitalisation without having to leave the house or have contact with delivery people.
Ditto how much of other supplies you should have if you can possibly afford it.

(11,771 posts)One has incontinence issues (I'm having trouble getting her usual pads because everything is sold out), the other is on Lasix! How the heck do you prepare for that!?! I honestly have not taken a count, but all I know is there is literally stacks of tp in both bathrooms and the laundry room. Keeping my fingers crossed. I told them both we have wash cloths, bleach and a washer/dryer, they both looked at me like I was out my mind. So then I suggested a water bottle rinse, and again, acted like I was a barbarian. I am thinking I'll do the fresh water rinsing and dry, leave the tp for them if things get dicey. Sorry, probably way more than anyone ever wanted to know. For sure can't run outta wine, it'll get ugly in a hurry around here if that happens.
