On the baser end ... a roof over my head, the spaghetti I am cooking this evening, electricity, running water, a toilet, and sufficient toilet paper.



Life is good.

that my husband is working from home and we enjoy eating lunch and going for mid-day walks together. I’m thankful for my big, floppy, snuggly dog. Pretty much everything these days.

and no longer have elderly parents in a care home to worry about. That would be just crushing; it was hard enough under normal circumstances. Those of you who do have that responsibility -

Also I have three lovely cats and enough toilet paper.

that my family is together, two adult children who are both helping me and my wife out. My wife and I are both over 60.

a warm, cozy, private place to hunker down. I have food, water, some toilet paper and am close to healthy. I am thankful for family who have called to see how I'm doing.

I have paper towels too but I'm not telling.

I'm an RN, so my job has NEVER been more secure. I'm also scared I might get sick and/or die, because I'm an RN.
