Here's the real way donnie could cheat an election in November

There have been a number of posts suggesting Donnie could postpone or cancel the election.

Shirt answer, generally, no, he can't. Selection of presidential electors happens at the state level and Donnie can't stop that.

But the state legislatures are free to pick electors in a manner of their own choosing. Traditionally, this has always been done with elections, but constitutionally, there's no requirement for this.

So, a Republican-controlled state with a democratic voting population could decide (blaming covid-19, of course) to scrap elections in favor of the legislature simply choosing the electors. Maybe via a sham commission.

We need to be prepared and vigilant, and have a response ready so as to make sure any suggestion to do this is political suicide for republicans.
