(86,646 posts)family members about my mom. She's in her 90s and in an assisted living facility. She was tested Thursday but don't know what for, she was having respiratory issues. We are wondering if she'll make it through this, and if not, she'll end up dying alone, and we have gone to great lengths to try to keep that from happening. *sigh*. All we can do is talk on the phone and that's hard for her to do.
We have all decided that we have done all we can do and whatever happens is what we'll have to live with. Heck I might not make it through this if there aren't respirators available when I get it.

(24,736 posts)My husbands mother is 92 still living at home, goddess bless her. She spent her 92nd birthday last weekend ALONE - cancelled visit, celebration. We are calling her daily, but she struggles hearing phone calls, too.
Beyond tragic.
I just hope that all the love and admiration we've given her, you've given yours, is in their heart at this awful time.
