Republicans are constantly terrified of all kinds of future events from immigrants taking over communities to sharia law supplanting the constitution to the government taking away your means of defense.

But when a REAL terror event occurs that will kill millions and totally upend all of society they just laugh and make fun of the scaredy cats who prepare for it.

1. and when the real event arrives

they scream for bailouts and handouts to protect their "clients"

2. It takes critical thinking, and long-term investment (money) to prepare for emergencies.

Nothing in the ideology of the Global Oligarchs' Posse (GOP) allows for any of that to happen.

3. Not a single one of them

will put the blame for this squarely where it belongs - on tRump. They back this inadequate person, who has his unqualified relatives as advisors. I read that tRump is mad at Jared for giving him bad advice, saying this virus is going to blow over - fast. Any ADULT would have consulted EXPERTS, but tRump did not, since they mostly are democratic backers. Kushner was put in charge of almost everything, and screwed everything up. Then tRump put him in charge of the virus task force!! WHERE the HELL are the supposed "leaders" of the gop, telling him he is wrong? The only consolation is that they will go down right along with the orange menace, and so they should. The gop is to blame for this disaster on a national scale. Proving, once again, the gop is incapable of leading this country. I would bet that many of them are relieved that the blue wave is going to take over, clean this mess up. It will take many YEARS to repair the damage done in three years by this failure of a president, and his administration. Everything he touches dies. Unfortunately, it will cost too many lives this time. Too bad they threw the plans from the Obama administration for a pandemic, in the trash. Then the orange JENIUS fired all the experts from the medical team. What a screwed up mess the gop has caused this time.
