1. One of my faves.

I cared for my mom the last two years of her life. She had advanced Alzheimer’s and didn’t see or hear well. She and never been a fan of the show but... I’d narrate it and she’d follow along. Funny thing was she learned who Aunt Bea was and that Otis was the town drunk. Lots of fond memories.

7. Gilmer County, pretty much right at the base of Fort Mountain

If any Georgia county is redder than Gordon, it's Gilmer. But it's a glorious day, the forsythias and daffodils look like yellow explosions, and I'm about to go for a walk, so life is good.
