Cramer: 'We cannot have the fat cats make money at the expense of the workers'

CNBC’s Jim Cramer said Thursday that whatever happens on the other side of the coronavirus crisis CEOs should not benefit more than their employees.

“I like anything that protects the workers,” Cramer said on “Squawk on the Street.” “We cannot have the fat cats make money at the expense of the workers.”

Cuban, owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and a “Shark Tank” investor, said bailed out companies should not be allowed to ever buy back their stocks again.

“Not now. Not a year from now. Not 20 years from now. Not ever,” he said. “Because effectively you’re spending taxpayer money to buyback stock and to me that’s just the wrong way to do that.”

This guy was pals with Ludlow for years. Don't know about now, but that's still an unforgivable lapse in judgment.

I’d hate to live in a society where fat cats make out like bandits while the rest of us struggle for scraps! Please, Mr. Cramer, tell us how to stop that!

loans. This is the direct result of bailing out the banks. Business leaned it could continue to engage in risky behavior, like not having a rainy day fund, because it wouldn’t have to pay the consequences. Every single parent on the planet understands why bailing their kid out of trouble is a bad idea. We learn to avoid things that hurt. If it never hurts we’ll keep right on doing the same thing. This needs to hurt and it needs to hurt the ones responsible for the bad choices, CEO’s VP’s, CFO’s ...everybody at the top.

Isn't that the great capitalist dream??? The ultimate capitalist worker is a slave. Work hard with no pay. Then work up from there.. Little pay for lots of work, lo pay for lots of work, moderate pay for lots of work... Good pay for lots of work??? FIRED.. Higher two for the price of one...... repeat..
