America is about to get its ass kicked because we did not test people.

I believe we will surpass China in number of people infected. The math is not hard to figure out. Thousands of Americans have been spreading the virus around the country for weeks because we did not test people.

That was at the beginning of Feb. when I went to the Federally run health clinic that I go to for care. There was a box of face masks pinned to the entry door. I took a few of them knowing I would need them soon, very soon. This was 2-1/2 mos. ago!

The Federal gov't doesn't do things like this for no damn good reason at all. I know, I spent 10 years of my life working for them and witnessed the onslaught of the AIDS epidemic which actually began in 1978! That's right, 1978! It was allowed to spread and they KNEW it was there!

One hell of tragic, unnecessary ride is coming alright!

Lots of unnecessary deaths are enroute very soon mark my words!

Trump hadn't yet figured out how to monetize testing and make sure that Jared could pocket some of the coin generated by widespread testing. We had to make sure the right people would profit before we dove willy-nilly into some universal testing regime.

And being told I have to use my vacation time to cover my being out. (I know, first world problem because at least I have vacation time, but my job has gone from serving the public face-to-face, to being closed to the public but staff has to report, to going half-time next week with 50% of work to be done from home. I was told I couldn't work even 50% from home next week because I'm on self-quarantine. Also, I have to use vacation time because the city's time-keeping software can't process payroll if I talk unpaid leave. What the actual fuck??

My son has been really sick, couldn't get the covid test because of lack of tests although he did test positive for pneumonia. Which is an outcome of respiratory infections such as covid19. He also tested positive for Influenza A, but that still doesn't rule out covid19. Indeed, he could have caught Influenza A after his immune system was compromised by fighting off covid19. It's a logical fallacy to assume that it's impossible to have both covid19 and the flu at the same time. That's just bad science, and not supported by the WHO. We live less than two hours driving distance from Boston and New Rochelle, NY. CDC says only one confirmed case in my county, but you can't confirm or deny the number of cases if you're doing any testing!!
