i didn't watch the "event" today. well, only for a minute and couldn't deal with it. so i read the big thread of the day here at du.

i wonder why they took a turn to the snark after yesterday's more serious and promising tone. maybe because the market tanked yesterday and today it's not as dismal. but i can't come up with a real solid clue given our life and death circumstance.
