NYT reporter alarmed at Trump's 'really disturbing' coronavirus press conference meltdown

President Donald Trump on Thursday exploded at reporters during his latest coronavirus pandemic press conference, where he bitterly complained that the media was not treating him or his administration fairly.

When asked by one reporter why his administration had not prepared itself for the crisis by ramping up production of testing kits, Trump snapped back and said, “The only thing we weren’t prepared for was the media — the media has not treated it fairly.”

New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman found herself alarmed at the president’s performance and said that it reflected the way that his primary concern is how he’s personally being perceived — not the health and well being of the American public.

He is the whiner-in-chief. Has there been a moment when this president has pushed himself into center stage when he has not whined about something? Do not believe a whine free Mr. Trump moment exists.

He quibbles, hesitates, whines and lies. He scapegoats, demonizes, whines and complains. The buck never stops with him. He is responsible for nothing and every non-bootlicker is out to get him.

It is long beyond the time for our fourth estate to notice these obvious facts.

This president needs to resign. Failing that, he needs to shelter in place outside of the camera lense and let the experts do their thing unimpeded by his ignorant, paranoid whinery.

Okay, we all know what Trump is and isn't. Well, at least those of us in the reality-based universe.

Pence? Who the fuck knows what his story is?

And the sycophants who voted against the bill yesterday.

That leaves hundreds of Republican legislators, some of whom are, or once were, thinking people. In the same way that it was republicans who forced Nixon into resignation, I want to believe that there are some republicans thinking the same now about trump. Surely some of them can see that he is broken, at a time when 335 million Americans really don't need a broken former human being in the Oval Office. Frankly, I don't think Pence is much better, but that's who's next. Surely there's a reporter out there asking the question - is there anyone pushing for resignation? COVID-19 cases are increasing substantially, probably because it's spreading and probably because there are now some people being tested. What's "the number" of cases in the US will it take to ensure that we have a normal person at the helm? How many have to die because trump has told governors to figure shit out on their own?

You all know the way the rest of this rant goes. Without leadership, we have 50 states and hundreds of counties trying to figure out what to do. We have states, counties, and hospitals that are going to be fighting over the respirators that are reported going to be made by GE and Tesla, etc. Without leadership the US Navy Hospital Ships will never leave the yard or the port they are located. They'll never be staffed because no one is demanding that it happen.

I'm not expecting anything to change before the election. But it would be somewhat comforting (not quite the right word) that there are republicans who still have a working brain cell or two and a modicum of morality that they are discussing options.

I do not see eye to eye with Bill Maher on a number of things, but he sure hit the nail on the head when years ago he started describing that orange shit stain as a Whiny Little Bitch! He is truly pathetic.

And I may be wrong for I know that jack ass did not cause this COVID-19 pandemic personally, but I feel not only is the blood of most that died here on his and the Trumplicans hands, but also possibly those souls who perished in Italy and elsewhere. Truth is, historically the US has been the country many others look to for guidance, direction and leadership, and even with Captain Dipshit at the helm, I believe we still for the most part were that at the start of this crisis (I now say were because how anyone could look at the US has anything other than a laughing stock now is beyond me?) However, Agent Orange's nonchalant attitude and carelessness, and as we got proof of today - purposeful misinformation regarding COVID-19, certainly did not help caution us or others to its seriousness. Had the US led the way, not rid itself of a team created for this purpose, not stood back and just said it is one guy in China, not talked about fairly tales where things magically one day just disappear, but sent out a team of trained professionals and handled this competently from day 1, not only would lives here have been saved, but I honestly believe lives everywhere would have been saved. He is truly a monster and culpable!

Attitude reflects leadership, and thus far there has been no leadership by the illegal occupant of the white house because he does know how to lead, he only knows how to sit there and complain - LIKE A WHINY LITTLE BITCH!!!
