Should Obama speak up? Not about the primary, but about this pandemic, what he left in place to

monitor and combat the spread of a potentially global virus, about Trump’s mismanagement, lack of leadership? Advise? Console?

No. Obama should not engage. Don't stir up the crazy, jealous hornet.

Yes. Obama should address the nation at a time of crisis, as he is now an elder statesman.

No. Be too many cooks in the kitchen. Let Dems, Biden, Bernie do what they are doing,

Other: The ex-presidents should put something together and speak.

Yes, but...Obama should endorse a candidate in order to unify us against Trump

No. Breaks with the American tradition. Prev prez, especially in "war time," doesn't criticize current.

I like the x-prezs doing something together. I bet even George bush would criticize trump. Hoyt Mar 2020 #1

Even if a Prez has no clue, they need to act like they are seeking answers from those who do.

But also delicious because "Oh-Baahmmmma" one-upping Trump is his worst nightmare.

I would vote No, but because we are the ones who follow long-time beneficial traditions. No post-War ex-Pres has criticized his successor. We know trump will violate that, but that will just help cement his horrible legacy.
Obama can speak up at convention time. No need for an endorsement, we have a nominee.

If Obama got into the mix, Trump would do worse things than what he's already done. Whatever Obama said, Trump would do the opposite, no matter how much it might hurt us.
