"SNIP....

“Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) will try again on Monday to advance a mammoth coronavirus stimulus package, setting the vote for shortly after the markets open,” The Hill reports.

Said McConnell: “Here’s the way ahead, colleagues. We’re going to vote at 9:45 in the morning, the same vote we had at 6 p.m. tonight. We’re going to vote at 9:45 in the morning, 15 minutes after the markets open, and see whether there’s a change of heart.”

“His decision comes after the GOP stimulus package garnered 47 votes on Sunday, falling shortof the three-fifths needed to advance.”

COVID-19 Pandemic than in putting the stimulus package cart ahead of the horse. Let's get through the crisis first and then do the rebuilding.

OTOH, the Republicans are clearly displaying that their #1 priority is kissing Il Dunce's big orange ass.

Why? Why are they so beholding to such an obviously worthless sack of crap? I really couldn't tell you.

Like the saying goes, the love of money is the root of all evil.

It’s been playing out right before our eyes since Trump was elected.

They are hoping for a tipping point where the middle class is cleaved and the rich liberals vote republican because they are so afraid of the bleak prospects the 'dirty' poor face. When there is no middle class there is a precipice at the end of being rich. So the rich put up with corruption and sell their souls and all vote republican lest they have to contribute the millions they will have to to make things right again after the Trump transfer-corruption has eaten up all the seed corn. With one third of the country never voting that gives republicans a suoermajority to continue to steal from the poor. And cleave. And corrupt. And those who find themselves 'middle class' are not getting much so they steal from the poor. And then the USA is India. And the ladders are all pulled up.

Seriously, what is going on now is like if during the Second World War FDR had responded to the bombing of Pearl Harbor by passing the Marshall Plan.

Not only that, it's a waste of resources.

you would have higher intuitive abilities. Sometimes you can't see through the bullshit if you are in it. Being an outsider helps.

voters still like DT and he's shown how he can destroy an enemy with nothing but his words. If he told his voters not tovote for a particular Senator & supported a different candidate, the voters would listen.

in the US to manipulate things? Market has a good chance of falling tomorrow. Mitch is now going to blame it on Democrats for not voting for corruption. Then Mitch will play act some more and try and make it a meme.

obvious he’s twisting the truth until he can choke it to death. He takes what he and his party do and weaves it into a tale and presents it in a deceiving image and says that’s what the Democratic Party is doing. He’s a conjurer creating the black magic of delusion and telling us it is the pure light of truth.

1) Old Yeller opened his foul mouth and turned it to crap. (It's what he does.)

and

2) It takes a whole lot more money than they can muster to move the market needle following a two week loss of over $15 Trillion ( with a "T" ) in value.
