American Airlines stock price is $10.10 today, and has a market cap of $4.31B.

OK, AA, go ahead and issue and give the U.S. Govt 200M shares and a couple seats on the board, and we'll give you $2.02B. Need more than that? Sure, cough up more shares.

I’m actually hoping the airlines make it, contrary to some views here. Unlike the cruise industry they employ a lot of American taxpayers. Also I like to travel.
