This made me happy today. I read in this weeks "Time" magazine that in the 1880 Census....

...... a "15-year-old Wisconsin girl named Catherine Cudney" responded to the question about her "occupation" by answering "does as she pleases". One hundred and forty years ago there was no internet, but she would have won it that day. Fifteen year old young ladies have always known their own minds.
