WTF is Bob Woodward up to? Did anyone see Diane Sawyer's interview of him on ABC last night?
There was supposed to be am more in depth interview on the late night news which I didn't see because it is past my bedtime. Every four year he surfaces with some "explosive expose" and tries to shape I don't know what.
This time it involved the negotiations around the debt ceiling limit debate. Styled it as more dangerous than "the missile crisis" and went on to play bits of taped interviews.
"It was the status quo, only worse," Mr. Watergate intones.
What purpose does this all serve? Why now? Lightning is not going to strike twice for this power junkie.
