Anyone else notice Joe Scarborough was GONE during the Eichenwald discussion on 9/11?

On today's Morning Joe, Scar was ABSENT from discussion with Kurt Eichenwald about his incredible OpEd in the NYT, "The Deafness before the Storm" http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/11/opinion/the-bush-white-house-was-deaf-to-9-11-warnings.html?_r=1&ref=global

Mika read a section of the piece and got unusually nasty toned in questioning Eichenwald about what his purpose was in relating the lead up to 9/11. George Pataki, always a lightweight IMO, got petulant with the author, saying "Thank god, I haven't read it and I don't INTEND to read it!"
Eichenwald had to tell him rather sharply at one point to let him get a word in edgewise. Pataki looked ridiculous.

Wow! That was really good television! If you missed this segment, go on msnbc-tv.com and check it out on the MOrning Joe page.

I guess Joe was sulking in his dressing room off the set when this segment came on (or throwing up in the bathroom). His whole argument centering around 9/11 republican revisionism at its nauseating worst, he just couldn't take the LARGE dose of the truth that article gave us.

Call the show "Morning Weasel."

At least they admit to wanting to avoid any hint of truth of what happened. What was his purpose? You mean in trying to mess up everyone's Go USA holiday of 9/11? OMG, just insane.

show, he's so bad. Eichenwald made short shrift of him today. What a pleasurable TV moment that was...

along with Rudy. Rudy was a jerk before and after but that day he did give us some strength. Pataki now is a Wall Street guy OR I think he plays one on TeeVee.

Pataki's dickheadness did help delay the rebuilding of Ground Zero for years though!!!

JERKOFF!!!

It was quite over the top IMHO. She's basically useless now. I can stand her when Joe isn't around (not often enough for me) but she just goes along with the moron, only indicating her opposition by rolling her eyes or sighing. Yeah, Mika, that's telling him (yawn).

Plus Pataki--I wanted to throw something at the television. I think in his mind any criticism of Bush's handling of the al Qa eda threat would also diminish his role in the post 9/11 fake show of GOP muscle, especially here in New York State. He doesn't want his walk-on part in the war to be tarnished in anyway. Especially as I think he fancies himself a major player of the future (there was talk of him tossing his hat in the ring for the GOP nomination this year). So he's got to go right along with the talking points. I can't believe he actually believes Shrub wasn't grossly negligent in his handling of OBL. You'd have to be a simpleton to believe that. The evidence is irrefutable.

As far as Joe goes, does that idiot ever say anything other than "when I was Congress"? He's like the Norma Desmond of politics!

The whole 'Mika is a liberal' thing is just an act to give Joe credibility when she agrees with him.

and what I was doing. When I finally got to a TV Bush was giving a statement..Among my initial thoughts were..(after some tid-bit news we might have heard about this previously)..My first thoughts were.."This might have just saved the Bush Presidency"..Just being honest. And after that Rumsfeld/Cheney finally got their way with their war for oil
