I'm trying to get voters registered in PA before October 9th. I start out non-partisan, just ask people if they are registered and have a valid photo ID; I only get into issues if someone asks. The biggest obstacles I find are people who derisively snort that they don't vote because "They're both bums, one's as rotten as the other, you vote 'em in and they don't do anything." Then there are the uninformed and the misinformed, Faux-watching, relative-believing, negative ad barraged.. you know who I mean. I won't call them names, partly because I am only recently politically awakened, partly because I believe when we sink to that level we are no better than they are, and partly because I understand that many people work two jobs and take care of kids or sick elders and truly don't have time to get into it. Even some of our fellow volunteers have more zeal than any arsenal of facts to rebut RW talking points. So, here are some facts to rebut RW talking points.

2. I tell the ones that do nothing but complain but never vote, they don't have the right to complain.

Stay close to the cities of PA like Philly and the Burgh. In the country where I live, they are mostly rightwingers.
