Laura Ingram melts down on air: "This SHOULD BE a 'GIMME' election!" Advocates disbanding GOP

Last edited Tue Sep 11, 2012, 07:07 PM - Edit history (2)

This is just too funny. I'm sensing a little ...'frustration?' in the Republican Party about not being able to beat Barack Obama? I mean, heck, he's a black, LIBERAL Democrat! He's not even ENTITLED to be in the White House!

Here's Ingram having a melt down, and claiming they should DISBAND the Republican Party if they can't beat Obama, an election that "should be a 'gimme'."

Is this the first shot being fired in the Republican Circular Firing Squad? Let's hope so!

When the Republicans lose this November, they're not going to try to figure out why. They already know why - they weren't far enough to the right! After all, Americans love hard-right politics, and voted against the Republicans to urge them in that direction. So they'll undergo another ideological purge, of the sort that brought us the tea party in 2010... except the tea party will be "too leftist."

your average Republican voter - the decent-but-clueless people who make up the bulk of the party's voters, are going to see this extra dose of crazy, and are going to back off from it. They probably won't go Democratic (though many "undecided" types will probably make up for that by a perm Dem shift) but they WILL look at other options.

It'll be a revitalized democratic party versus a multi-party conservative stew.

The trick is just having democrats show up to vote. As we saw in 2010, apparently democratic voters are perfectly happy to help get far-right crazy fuckers into office because they "want to teach Democrats a lesson."

Sew up unmarried women's vaginas?
Put pregnant women in a 'home for wanted pregnancies'?
Arrest ALL black and latino men?
Allow only those making over $1,000,000 to vote?

What have I left out..I know a bunch!

I forsee at least two main election cycles of chaos on hte right. More likely if Johnson or Goode actually pull visible numbers this year, of course.

It'll be those three parties kicking each other around for a while. I'll laugh if the libertarians come out on top. "Government doesn't work, so elect us!"

is the mantra of my local R running for Mayor, should I mention Carl DeMaio is also a student of a certain Speaker?

So that is already a mantra.

I can't stand to see the Party of LINCOLN die this slow, agonizing death. It should have stopped with Eisenhower, who was the last decent Republican president.

Look who never got in the race - think that is an accident?

No we live in a two term Presidency country. W got re-elected* when he clearly lied us into war.

Laura be careful you dared once say that "maybe we should give the Clinton's a break" and you were OUT for several years.
