Obama is a president of the people... of all the people....
"I love it when I wake up in the morning and remember that President Obama spoke to me in ASL... smile.
Last weekend I met President Obama at a rally in Seminole FL. I am profoundly Deaf, and lucky enough to have been in the front. When he came by to shake hands, I told him that he was an excellent communicator and easy to lipread -- I didn't have any interpreters. [As you can see in the photo] he thanked me in sign language!
His photographer contacted me yesterday and sent me this photograph. The president surrounds himself with truly wonderful [and helpful] staff."
