We're in Afghanistan because of the attack on New York City right?

Eleven years ago the Twin Towers fell, soon after America invaded Iraq and Afghanistan. America is still in Afghanistan.

Did we get the bad guys who did 9-11? The big one, Bin Laden is dead and gone, but is the Taliban still there? Saddam Hussein of Iraq is dead and gone but he had nothing to do with 9-11.

Did we go over there to give the people Democracy and freedom, or did we go over there for bloody vengeance? Are there other reasons why Americans are still serving and dying in Afghanistan?

All day the tv people are going on and on about the attack on New York City, but they aren't talking about the war that was started supposedly because of the attack.

They act like there is no connection between the 9-11 attack and the endless war in Afghanistan.

Are we ashamed to talk about the war in Afghanistan? Afterall, we're there BECAUSE of what happened 11 years ago today.....right?

I hope you weren't serious when you said Iran was threatening us. Sure a 6 year old can threaten an adult but they aren't going to harm the adult. The adult shouldn't turn around and kill the kids family...
