Lose the snottiness. Lots of your comrades live in red states. Half the country is red states. Some of our governors aren't even acting all that brain-dead. In Texas, Abbott's only exceptionally stupid move was to declare religion an essential business. He has gone so far as to require a 14 day quarantine for people traveling here from LA, which is questionably legal but a pretty smart move when your neighbor is fixing to be a plague state. The state has been locked down. Laredo is one of the first cities in the nation to require masks (not that it may do much good). Locally, the mayors have by and large been doing a good job in my region.

We have a handful of problem states with problem governors. Quit trying to divide people by state. Help the people of those states put pressure on their stupid governors and local leaders to do the right thing.

You do not have to use the word worthless to convey that meaning. I learned that sometime in elementary school.
