to get a windshield really clean because it gets into all the little surface imperfections on the glass. I use it when washing my car and then just rinse it off.

8. I was once grounded until I was 21 or died...and Dad said he wasn't betting on 21...

I had been sneaking out to hang out with the latest boy I was madly in love with...and climbed out into this giant tree outside my window when everyone was asleep. The branch broke and I fell and broke my collar bone. When Dad got outside...he said 'what the hell'! I (even in pain I was quick thinker in my teens)...told him I heard a noise on the roof...the next day as I lounged around in a t-shirt with everything strapped down...he grounded me...in a sadistic twist...he waited until the collar bone was healed... I actually did a week before Mom broke and informed my Dad that if he wanted me grounded than he could stay home and supervise the grounding...that was the end of it. My parents were saints and I was a brat. When I had kids, I grounded them until I felt they had 'learned their lesson and grown from this experience', No way I want long weeks at home with grounded kids!

such a boring teenager. Never grounded, rarely went out with friends. This stay at home order must be what it was like to be grounded, only this time I’m grounded by my doctor.😙

and 75 cents for the movies in the county seat.

Only time I got grounded, I was about 16 and got drunk on bootlegged beer with some buddies after our prom. I think Mom grounded me for a couple of weeks. No drinking allowed in our house and not much in the whole town.

Lesson learned....for a little while, 'till college......

I broke dads fly rod. Didn’t ground me, just made me feel so bad I swore I’d never have kids. Figured they might turn out like me. 70 now and never had kids.
