What good does that do for ANYONE to hear him say that the ventilator is the death sentence??
On and on and on in his creepiest voice.
"Don't ask that question! Don't ask that question!" he said.
WHY did he go on so?

He will never be made accountable for anything. So why bother exposing myself to the frustration of listening to a pile of lies?
He gets off on the outrage that people express. Why give him the pleasure of it?

He did not have enough ventilators soon enough, so he says they are a death sentence when in fact they are saving lives. He is covering his ass with lies. He f**ked up when he spent more than 70 days golfing and partying. He never bothered to address the issue of the virus then called it a HOAX!
Hundreds of thousands are going to die for his incompetence and his need to turn a buck or two on our very lives.

(6,044 posts)He is suggesting that if people need ventilators they are already doomed so ventilators will just prolong suffering.

(13,571 posts)Returning to the topic of ventilators, the president said that one reason he keeps touting the unproven drug combination is because of reports that a significant number of COVID-19 patients who are placed on ventilators do not regain enough lung function to have the ventilators withdrawn.
"One of the reasons that I keep talking about hydroxychloroquine is that the question that nobody ever asks, and the question that I most hate the answer to, is what happens if you do have a ventilator," Trump said.
"But when you have a ventilator... and it's working beautifully, I don't like the answer because it's not a very high percentage," he continued.
"So I want to keep them out of ventilators, I want to keep them -- if this drug works, it will be not a game changer because that's not a nice enough term. It will be wonderful, it'll be so beautiful, it'll be a gift from heaven if it works, because when people go into those ventilators, you know the answers, and I'm glad you don't write about it."

Dotard was trying to make the implication that a ventilator wouldn't do any good anyway, in attempt to reduce his culpability for American deaths because of lack of supply where it's needed.
