The model seems to be intended for medical services people to project the need for higher staffing in ERs and ICU. And it’s hard to argue with that.

But it strikes me as being far more sensible to expect peak tomorrow. The emergency rooms and intensive care unit should be staffed and equipped now so that they are ready When more and more people are screaming in.

That said, I am at a loss as to how they can predict peak. There are just so damn many variables.

That said, was reading an in person account of recovery in China. Newly opened restaurants take your temp before you're allowed in. Can't count on Dipshit ordering something sensible.

A week ago AZ's predicted peak was around the 14th, moved back from the 19th, and now it's not until the 27th.
