About that Navy guy........

While we are all concerned and worried about our leadership and its handling of this latest world pandemic, perhaps we should pay a bit of attention to who is guarding our country while this is going on.

Just the other day another "ACTING" person in charge of an important position in our government made the decision to "fire" a captain of a US Navy aircraft carrier. We are seeing many current and retired military people state how that was not a really great idea.

You probably have seen the videos of the Captain's crew cheering him as he was marched down and off of the ship that he had proudly led and maintained, caring about his "mission" AND his crew.

But he was fired - by a civilian - an "ACTING" (meaning, not officially nominated by the "commander-in-chief" - nor approved through appropriate channels) Navy Secretary. Many, including immediate supervisors and other military advisors, suggested less extreme actions - or delaying any action based upon further investigation.

But no, he's gone, and we'll have to wait to see how this impacts things, you know, like how the NAVY feels about someone that important and revered (meaning the Captain, not the "ACTING" Secretary) being tossed overboard.

Consider this:

And hey, this isn't the ONLY thing that may be in the minds of Navy people these days.

Remember a few months ago when a Navy SEAL was convicted for some serious stuff? The NAVY found him guilty!!!!!

Trump reversed the conviction.

Yeah, think about that - The class bully beat up the girl class president on the playground - the class dragged him into the principal's office - and the principal said it couldn't be because the bully's dad was the principal's best buddy.

How comfortable are you about how our US NAVY is feeling right now? Do you think they have 100% confidence in their Commander-in-Chief?

Me? I have the upmost confidence in our military - I believe the Navy will do what it needs to do when the situation arises.
But then again, I do wonder.........what are they really feeling right now???????

Capt. Brett Crozier, hailed by his crew but fired as skipper of the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt by Navy leadership following a leaked bombshell letter, has tested positive for COVID-19, the New York Times first reported.

Malcolm Nance suggested that the next administration nominate Crozier as the next SecNav.
