To say the United States was not prepared to handle a pandemic only scratches the surface

It doesn't matter what the crisis is, a person like Trump will not only fail as a leader in the event of any crisis, he will make it worse.

The fact of the matter is the United States was not prepared to handle a pile of shit like Trump getting elected President, and we still aren't. It can happen again, if the media continues to be more interested in trendy celebrities than leaders, and remains more interested in turning elections into horse races for ratings than reporting the facts.
