Thinking about mail-in voting in November. I think DT is ranting about mail-in voting so he can

blame THAT for his loss! He's voted absentee in several elections himself so there has to be some reason he's flippin out over it now. 'm positive he's searching for some reason to blame a loss on other than the majority of people hate him.

1. Don't you see? It's perfectly fine to have mail in ballots in red states.

It's those blue or purple states that the democrats would cheat. It's funny though because the people that used mail-in ballots to cheat is evidently the republican in NC in 2016 or 2018. And the person that did it went to jail and another election had to be held. But reality and facts be damned.

Personally, I have the same concern as to the validity of mail in ballots. But the ones I worry about isn't the democrats but the republicans doing a nation-wide cheating similar to NC.

aabsentee voting here in Ga. for several elections. I'm in a wheelchair and although I can vote in person, which I've also done, it's easier for my hubby if we vote absentee so he doesn't have to fiddle with transporting the wheelchair, in & out of the car, etc. AFAIK everyone has to register with valid ID, & at least here, they verify the signature on the ballots with your registration to make sure it's you.

But from my memory, there is a republican campaign hired person in North Carolina that went door to door to collect mail in ballots by saying he/she would fill out or mail the ballots. But at the end, some votes were changed or the ballots that filled in for democrats were ultimately not mailed out.

here is a link to an article from a quick google search

Edit: To be clear, I think mail-in ballots are perfect fine for people like you. And in the larger circumstance that we have a pandemic right now, I am all for mail-in ballots for everyone. I just worry that the republicans will find some way to cheat through this though.

Edit 2: It's like in 2016, Trump baiting Hillary and the democrats to say we have full confidence in election results. Then when Trump won, Hillary couldn't contest any of the results without looking like a hypocrite or a soar loser. This mail-in ballot thing could be the 2020 version, we are now defending mail in ballots. If Trump were to win with mail in ballot cheating, we couldn't contest it then just like 2016.

course anything imaginable can happen. Even now with in person ID's stupid things happen. The answer to that is to publicly announce that NO ONE WILL EVER COLLECT YOUR BALLOT! and make sure it's on all media & online social media. Better to close one hole than scrap the entire program.

They are perfectly fine for older people, disabled people, etc. I just worry about extending to everyone without excuse. There needs to be a better way to verify your votes than simply checking the signature.

The example is just one that got caught. I wonder if there are other types of cheating out there. Once again, done by republicans, not democrats.
