Snowflakes can't handle the truth.

There are very few Republicans with the courage to say one word against Donald Trump. They cannot handle the truth.

Their President is lying to them. He is lying to America. Yet, they are mostly silent.

There are no profiles of courage in the Republican Party. Mitt Romney? Not that courageous. He knows that Trump is not that popular in Utah. But, he is still afraid to make too many waves.

They follow the example of Mitch McConnell, who doesn't even know what planet he is on.

We can only assume that their silence is consent? We all know these people. They say nothing, as if they do not recognize lies, deception, or tyranny? They are like zombies.

They sleepwalk as our country is being destroyed from within. Perhaps they are hoping that the Democrats will save our country once again and they don't have to do anything except be against our "government"? They are true snowflakes. They melt at the first sight of the truth.

The sad fact is that they love their Party more than they love their Country. They are frozen with indecision and cowardice.

It is their silence that is so infuriating. These were our family and friends. What happened to them?

Their brains have melted like butter under the propaganda assault of Donald Trump. They are not capable of reasoning or rationalizing. They cannot tell the difference between reality and a "reality show".

What choice do they leave everyone else?

Snowflakes are soon gone.

Their inability to create a narrative that makes them the heroes in this nightmare has frozen them into silence and inaction. It’s a twisted variation of narcissism.

As long as it keeps them in power they're good with it. We can't expect anything different from them. We saw that in full view during the impeachment hearings.

Romney is the only half decent one of them, and he has a long way to go in growing a spine.

Repukes only care about $$$ and power! They want to take control of the justice system by putting in their type of judges all across this nation and in the Supreme Court - they want ban abortions, reduce voting rights, remove immigrants, have whites back in power & control, give the rich more $$$, keep wall street gaining so they keep their pockets full of $$$, reduce government & government services, privatize healthcare to gain more $$$ in pockets from lobbyists of private companies, keep oil in business & take out green energy, keep chemical companies in business to use cancerous pesticides in farming, etc.

Took Russian money and, if exposed, would have been outted for the greatest criminal conspiracy ever seen in our nation.

Because Trump is the Prez and corrupt as hell himself, the entire enterprise was permitted to escape actual scrutiny. They buried their crimes and we have moved on.

We should NEVER move on. The moment we have the opportunity, this institutional treason needs to be spotlighted, adjudicated and punishments meted out.

Serious punishments. The entire past 4 years have been a cover-up.

The first opportunity they had to act and did nothing was when, at their Convention in 2016, "someone" took out something from their platform about defending Ukraine, and the Republicans said nothing or did nothing. There have been many, many examples since where they were complicit. Democrats should appoint a very strong AG if they take back the White House and he/she should turn over every stone and bring charges against the criminals. There is no going forward until this mess is cleaned up.

They are those who never developed higher level moral reasoning.

They appear, imo, to be incapable of holding opposing thoughts in their minds & effectively processing them.

Here is a link explaining Kohlberg's theory on the levels of moral reasoning:

One of my hobbies is trying to understand the human condition as best I can and also what makes us the way we are, particularly in relation to evolution. This effort of around 30 years has allowed me to be far more accepting and at peace with mankind, especially regarding things I have not control over (which is most everything).

Another piece in the puzzle!.........

I live in WI. What we’ve experienced here since Skippy Walker “dropped the bomb” has been nothing short of tyrannical.

His GOP Assembly and House gave him the broadest powers of any Governor in the country, only to strip all and retain it for themselves when Skippy was sent packing by Tony Evers.

Their unprecedented gerrymandering and success in getting their ilk elected to judgeships, their blatant power mongering, their party first, blah, blah, blah, then to add insult to injury, the toilet swill of this administration choosing to keep as much of their graft and corruption under the rug as possible, is beyond any reasonable rationale.

It’s sickening just having to witness what’s happening in America. Every day, it’s just a little bit more taking of this, and a little more cover up of that until POOF, democracy is gone. They will of course, blame democrats (or better yet, Obama) for our demise.

Why are we so helpless? Why can’t we fight like a mad dog? Why are we letting this go on? Ignoring subpoenas is now OK. Hiding pandemic information is now OK. Russian interference is now OK. BULLSHIT!

To quote Adam Schiff, (my tagline) “It’s NOT OK”

We need to know this.

We need to accept that Bloody Donnie's Republicans ARE decisive, and want this.

We can no longer think we can disabuse them of either their own lies or his scofflaw racketeering and mafia governance.

We must no longer believe that Republicans want what is good for the whole country.

We must show ourselves that we can run a country entirely without them because they have given us no choice.

We must show human decency, but never ever forget.

It's not in our political nature to sweep them all aside. And we have graciously, in fact, accepted defectors like Richard Painter, Steve Schmidt, Nicole Wallace, Gabrielle Giffords, Elizabeth Warren and Hillary Clinton. Because they did see the damage done.

However, it is not on us to wake the rest up, if you really believe they're sleeping.

I think they're wide awake, that they know where they stand.

And we Democrats have to act accordingly.
