Belgian-Dutch Study: Why in times of COVID-19 you can not walk/run/bike close to each other.

'What is a safe distance when running, biking and walking during COVID-19 times? It is further than the typical 1–2 meter as prescribed in different countries!

In a lot of countries walking, biking and jogging are welcome activities in these times of COVID-19. However, it is important to note that you need to avoid each other's slipstream when doing these activities. This comes out of the result of a study by the KU Leuven (Belgium) and TU Eindhoven (Netherlands).'>>>

Even walking when it's done as exercise. Heavy breathing expels particles more forcefully than normal breathing.

Instead of sidewalk where I cycle. I have been riding early lately so part of my ride is in the dark, I have bright lights and some walker/ joggers do too. Some don't have any lights so it can hard to see them and I pass them close.

I think they should stay on the sidewalk and I'll stay on the road with the cars..

I wish people would get a clue. We all have to give a little here. You can't just keep on with obviously disgusting behavior because you feel like it. Tired of being run off the sidewalk by these selfish fucking pigs.

for 20 miles. We followed the 6 foot rule. Oh we are all over 65 and one 82 year old. There were lots of walkers and bikers out. It is a beautiful day 60s and sunny.
