I suppose this post could be filed under "Fools Rush In".

As is evident, I am not an investigative journalist. I simply do not have the patience to review in detail all of the justifications for what I am about to say. I think most here know as much or more about Trump as I do so, disagree if you want, but don't bother pressing me for my sources or link to corroborate what I state as fact.

I believe it is just as likely as not that Trump is in fact intentionally sabotaging our best efforts to combat this pandemic.

He has allowed (perhaps profited from) massive shipments of ventilators, masks and other critical supplies overseas during January and February of this year as the virus came ashore.

His regime is seizing supplies ordered by hospitals and redirecting them---where? They decline to say.

Trump's people are importing ventilators and PPE's and delivering at least some of them to commercial concerns which then basically auction them off to the highest bidder.

That's enough. Trump's government has been for sale since he oozed down that damn escalator. If you do not agree, I can't help you; you are a lost cause.

The short term reason for this betrayal---which, make no mistake, amounts to the mass murder of Americans---is that it is making billions for interests who can be counted on to help Trump win re-election---"by hook or by crook", so the saying goes. Of course they will directly contribute millions of dollars, but these are also folks who know folks who know folks who can hire folks to___________(fill ANYTHING in that blank).

Long term, of course, the goal is to complete the destruction of democracy in America and so demoralize us that we will, for the most part, accept autocracy as "the new normal".

Trump's intent to disrupt next November's election is a given and the fear engendered by this pandemic will be used to his full advantage. He knows, as we do, that he would lose a fair contest and HE is willing to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to win. "WHATEVER".

We desperately need a champion who, if not willing to "color outside the lines", is capable of redrawing the lines. NOTHING gets better until Trump is gone. NOTHING.

They'll be allowed to institutionalize their worldview in our social policy. In return for flock solidarity on international corruption.

Fully concur. It becomescmore obvious by the day that this is intentional sabbotage of our heroic medical professionals & 1st responders, and of everyone who is self-isolating to flatten the curve.

Along these same lines, researchers are busting ass to find treatments & a vaccine. Even if they do, will Americans ever get those? NOT WHILE TRUMP IS IN OUR WH DOING PUTIN'S BIDDING!

5. I wonder if Trump is competent enough to pull off such a scheme.

I doubt it. I wonder if Trump is forward-thinking enough to even imagine such a scheme.! I doubt it.

I think you give him too much credit. He’s a disaster at 90% of the things he tries to do. What makes you think he’s smart enough or stable enough to be a political mastermind?

Evil and corrupt? Yes. Smart and capable? No.

without the confusion of caring about humans. A psychiatrist recently said his behavior is anti-human.
All he wants is to win the election now. Losing would be impossible for him to bear. The people who are dying do not matter.

He has no empathy, cannot accept blame for his mistakes, is focused only on bringing attention and praise to himself. Must have a constant stream of compliments from his underlings and every other thing he says is a lie. I am not a psychologist and know nothing about mental disorders, but believe me, our president is BAT-SHIT CRAZY.

He glibly talks about all the death and chaos like they are welcomed by him ... the devils hook? Blame all this on liberals, if you have sufficient hate in your soul. The devil himself gives justification for dividing Americans during this critical time. trump, the devils playground organizer.

First, NEVER automatically subscribe to conspiracy that which COULD possibly be just simple incompetence. (tho admittedly on a GRAND SCALE) Look at Benito Mussolini's rather dismal track record. (They even had the "great leader" select the design of fighter aircraft, which he did on looks alone--failed miserably) When the so called experts are not allowed to function as experts--THERE ARE NO FUNCTIONING EXPERTS. (Don't expect a great meal if the cooks aren't allowed to be cooks!) Trump's own incompetence is well documented---bankrupt in the casino business? ALL OF 'EM? SERIOUSLY? But your rage is welcome, appreciated, and understood --- and you may well be correct -- if so I would only question; WHO IS REALLY PULLING THE STRINGS AND WHY?
