Contacting Potential Coronavirus Victims

A friend of mine died recently of the Coronavirus. She is someone I saw on a regular basis. It happens that I have not had contact with her during the contagious time

But the health department doesn't know that.

It seems to me that when a person has tested positive, his/her contacts should be notified so that authorities can track the spread. Also, so that contacts can self-monitor.

Also, if possible, authorities could try to trace where the victim has been to see if there's a source they can identify.

Maybe I've seen too many detective movies.
