The death rate for KNOWN coronavirus cases is 3.5% in the USA

7. I was reading an interview with a NYC paramedic who says in one shift he has 12 deaths. The norm is

a few a week. None of the death calls he goes to are counted as covid.

It's almost certainly lower. Look at other properly-run countries for better figures.
