(2,117 posts)There is work to return to. Some business will be slow to reopen, others will not be able to reopen at all. I worry about my local BBQ joint. The people are my friends, the food is great and the beer selection is varied and always interesting.

(21,359 posts)Would you schedule a cruise or go to a movie, or even eat at a packed restaurant? It is going to be a very slow recovery and many small businesses are going to go bankrupt.

I would say recovery would be quick when the economy reopens, but well just keep getting wave after wave of outbreaks until either everyone has had the virus and a herd immunity is developed or a cure is made and distributed to everyone in the nation. Many people will be hesitant of public spaces until that happens and economic recovery will be slow.
