Why haven't the so called moderate Republicans like GWB and Romney come out to denounce

The way that Trump is mishandling the pandemic? Sorry that I couldn’t think of any other Republicans who could be considered as moderate. If they are willing to die for their party, that is their choice, but don’t take the rest of the country down.

Not to defend GWB or any RWer, but there is something to that here. Trump has never been fully sane and now, his unpredictability can be devastatingly dangerous.

but not so much because he was a fuckup as a president, but because he and his family clearly have no use for Dear Leader. If he were to come out publicly as against Trump he'd just be tweeted into further oblivion. Romney probably wants to run for president again so he has to be careful whose toes he steps on. If he's too mean to His Lardship he'll be effectively kicked out of the party.

They are fucking shameless - 22,000 dead people and they are silent. If Muslims, African-Americans or Latinos had killed five people it would have been non-stop interviews with ReTHUGs.
I wish them all what they wish for every minority.

The maxim is "Qui tacet consentit": the maxim of the law is "Silence gives consent". If therefore you wish to construe what my silence betokened, you must construe that I consented

I know that it's tempting when seeing Michelle Obama hug him, that maybe he is a decent, all-right guy after all.

But I haven't forgotten what a feckless, mean-spirited, small-minded fuck he was as President. IOW, he's a Republican, and just as much of a dick as the rest of them. I don't think that has changed. He's not going to upset the GOP apple cart by denouncing their new, tawdry, political messiah.

They just don't do that kind of thing. It's why McCain wasn't abandoned by the rest of the Republicans for picking Palin as his VP choice. If he had won the election, I think a charge of treason for installing Sarah Palin as VP would not have been unwarranted.

IMO.

And unable to think "he's a republican like me, but he's murdering Americans."

Seems a very young childlike brain function, which is normal for young kids, but pathetic in adults.

13. There are no moderate Republicans in Congress anymore

There are a handful of rational conservatives, but that's about it. There are a few moderate Republican governors like Baker in Mass and Hogan in Maryland, but that's about it.

the moderate Republicans (Ana Navarro, Steve Schmidt) and other rational conservartives have all retired and now work in media and/or against Trump.
